The National Achievement Awards are Australia's leading superannuation funds and other fiduciary investor organisations awards for executive recognition. The Awards conceived and introduced in 2012 by La Trobe Financial have now been widely recognised as the peak recognition amongst various incentives for senior officers and executives in the financial investment industry pursuing worlds best practices.

Chosen by a judging panel of industry based experts and performance data from Rainmaker Research the Awards aim to not only recognise excellence among Australian investment management staff but also to help in the further education and development of professionals working in the superannuation industry.

The call for nominations, announced in August this year, notes that the award categories also encompass chief investment officers, general managers investments, executive heads of investment committees as well as the operational heads of investments such as chief financial officers, general managers operations and others in charge of implementation of investment decisions.

Award Winners Receive $10,000 Study Grant

The announcement of the winners will take place on 18 November 2015 at an Awards Breakfast event in Melbourne. Each winner will receive a cheque for $10,000 towards an educational program of their choosing.

The Awards organised by La Trobe Financial, recognise the achievements of the key executives in charge of the retirement savings of Australians. They are open to people in those, or like, positions at fiduciary funds, including superannuation funds, government funds, statutory insurance funds, commercial savings and multi-manager funds. The Awards are the only one of its kind and have proved very popular with industry participants, because they reward recipients’ personally with a study grant of $10,000 each. These Awards are important because they recognise the significant achievements of key executives in charge of retirement savings of our fellow Australians.
